WZ-113G FT in Advance Battles - My Opinion

Image
The WZ-113G FT falls under the "Never Used" category of vehicle choice during competitive battles. All this poor armour combined with a large size results in unnecessary bulk, however this does not stop it from becoming a damage powerhouse for 14 other team members. Advantages: Can pivot between defensive and offensive tactics decently well. Very quick reverse and hull traverse speed. Able to out-speed Super Conqueror, T110E3, and defensive HT variants. Therefore performs corner-wedging assaults better than the T110E3. Nearly invincible gun mantlet. Virtually no frontal weak spots on the superstructure. Most of the time the enemy is shorter than the WZ-113G FT in height and will not reach the tiny cupola on the roof. HEAT shells can severely punish and counter HTs and MTs. Possibility of easily destroying Object 279 (e) is very high. HE shells has superb damage potential against soviet HTs and their similar variants due to caliber, penetration and damage.

Clan Wars In ATLUS, Personal Opinions, Prize Redemption

Image
The Results I am Sinful_Pride, a TD player who has joined ATLUS clan for the Fire Trail Clan Wars event. The event was 11 days long and battles popped at 15:00 till 00:45 daily according to Singapore time. My final position is 262, with 46289 fame points. Our clan was ranked 3rd for the campaign with 1554796 fame points. Each player will get a bond multiplier of 6 and the clan will get a gold pool of 100000. I have participated 66 battles in the event and have received the Damascus Steel style, a base of 800 bonds which will be multiplied by 6, and 3 commemorative medals. Personal Opinion I was not picked during the first day of the event because I did not have the required vehicles for the 10 vs 10 format in the Basic Front. Even though there were some battles in the 15 vs 15 format in the Advanced Front, the clan had a small probability of picking me due to the unsuitable maps for TD. During the second half of the event, I repurchased Object 907 in h

SU-130PM - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
It was delayed by nearly half a year, the SU-130PM has high standards at 3000 damage for the 3rd mark. The SU-130PM has outstanding camouflage values, damage per shot, and gun elevation angles. The SU-130PM also has a limited traversable turret, like the T28 Prototype. This leaves the SU-130PM with a disadvantageous close combat capability compared to the Skorpion. The SU-130PM catches on fire very easily when the frontal hull armour is hit, coupled with a small pool of HP and nearly zero armour everywhere, has overall poor survivability and is a fragile vehicle. With an underpowered engine, the SU-130PM has terrible acceleration and does not keep up at its top speed of 60 km/h on flat ground and overall speed is therefore somewhat underwhelming. Hull traverse speed is decently quick, so it is recommended to rotate the hull and turret for greater gun traverse speed. The gun has very respectable gun depression angles and traverse speed, it also has excellent strike potential with 52

SU-100 - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
Done in 95 battles, I stopped at 61 battles with 0 Marks of Excellence 3 years ago and I continued the challenge yesterday. The SU-100 is a slower version of the WZ-131G FT, with a more potent gun selection. Similarly, both WZ-131G FT and SU-100 had less than 445m of view range with the standard equipment layout so I had to use the Improved Ventilation and the Optical Calibration directive to allow 448m of view range. A question normally asked is: "Which gun to use, 100mm or 122mm?". I chose the 122mm gun because SU-100 maximises it's damage potential better by shooting once and retreating, although it compensates armour penetration, gun accuracy, DPM and gun aim time. The SU-100 is not as efficient in using the 100mm gun compared to the WZ-131G FT. The SU-100 boasts great camouflage values and has a low profile so it can perform some passive scouting tactics easily. The gun is relatively difficult to aim due to long aim time and mediocre gun stabilisation, so it has di

Object 704 - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
The Object 704 was one of the first soviet TDs in the game, before the Object 268. The Object 704 is a very slow TD with nearly non-existent armour other than the gun mantlet, this means that the Object 704 has a different playstyle from the Object 268. The Object 704 was once a reasonable TD during the older meta, however it struggles to cope with the new meta especially with the introduction of formidable enemies like the Object 268 v4, Object 277 and the recently buffed MTs and other vehicles. The only main strength of the Object 704 is it's surprisingly great camouflage for it's own size. However the sheer amount of weaknesses outweigh it's main strengths. Poor all round armour, long gun aiming time, poor gun depression, extremely slow hull traverse speed, highly inaccurate aim, low armour penetration, low HP pool and mediocre gun stabilisation are waiting to haunt and torment the user. View range is able to exceed 445m with the standard equipment layout (without bino

Kanonenjagdpanzer 105 - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
Done in 123 battles. The Kanonenjagdpanzer 105's main strength is the extreme camouflage values and top speed, outperforming the AMX Cda 105 in scout runs and passive scouting. With similar gun performance with the AMX Cda 105, the Kanonenjagdpanzer 105 acts as AMX Cda 105's brother in long range sniping. Although AMX Cda 105 is more accurate and has slightly higher Damage Per Minute (DPM), it has worse stats in all other areas like gun traverse arcs and penetration compared to the  Kanonenjagdpanzer 105. Both guns need to be aimed fully in order to hit the targets. Shell types for both guns are no different, however  Kanonenjagdpanzer 105 's APCR shells travel slower and HEAT travels faster than the AMX Cda 105.  Kanonenjagdpanzer 105 has a higher top speed but trades in power to weight ratio, so it accelerates slower than the AMX Cda 105. The main difference between the two brothers is the armour profile. AMX Cda 105 can bounce off shots from other LTs and MTs and can

Object 268: Universal TD, HT / MT, high adaptability to the map. WZ-113G FT: Suitable for city maps, very fast hull rotation and reverse speed.

M10 RBFM SIROCO - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
Done in 86 battles, has high standards compared to a typical tier 5 vehicle. At first glance, the M10 Wolverine looks similar to the M10 RBFM and therefore shares similar overall handling traits. The main highlight of the M10 RBFM is the gun, view range and the camouflage. The gun hits fast and hard, having enough DPM to overwhelm other MTs and some TDs. Although the gun fires at a blisteringly high rate, the shots tend to miss at medium to far distances. APCR shells are a godsend to the M10 RBFM as they have faster shell velocity and great penetration for a tier 5 TD, APCR shells are not really a necessity as AP shells already have decent penetration. Aim time and gun stabilisation is average. View range can surpass 450m with the standard MT equipment layout. Camouflage is insane, the M10 RBFM can abuse its camouflage for passive scouting and some amounts of active scouting when necessary. With a fully traversable turret and -10 degrees of gun depression, the M10 RBFM can act as a

T-103 - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
By far the hardest Tier 8 TD challenge in my career. Considered as a masochist's toy. The T-103 demands immense amount of patience and discipline from players to relocate when in dangerous situations and help allies by scouting or by pushing together with HTs. The T-103 is very slow and sluggish. Turret traverse speed, acceleration and forwards & backwards speed takes ages to work. To complement it's weaknesses, the T-103 also has nearly zero armour on the hull, unreliable turret armour and one of the largest silhouettes in the game on par with M6A2E1. Side-scraping techniques always fail and relies greatly on hull down positions to utilise it's -8 degrees of gun depression and fully traversable turret to slowly work out the enemies. Being a large TD comes with great advantages, it can unexpectedly shoot over tall rocks and buildings and scout enemies hiding in smaller bushes. Fortunately, the T-103 is one of the best defensive passive scouting TDs in the game by havi

Pz.Kpfw. V/IV - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
Done in 59 battles. One of the earliest vehicles in the game, it was available in the gift shop during the very early days of WoT but was never sold in store or given out ever since. A Pz. IV's turret mounted on a Panther I's chassis enables the Pz.Kpfw. V/IV to be a semi-durable vehicle against low caliber guns and a serious battering ram against other MTs and TDs. Side-scraping techniques work especially well in the Pz.Kpfw. V/IV as the upper side plates are angled and has small amounts of spaced armour to cover the tracks. Angling the frontal armour also works well, however medium caliber guns pose no problems in penetrating the armour. The hull is quite durable but the turret lacks all round armour, the spaced armour on the turret does not benefit the Pz.Kpfw. V/IV much. The view range is especially great and could exceed 460m with the standard equipment layout. Although the Pz.Kpfw. V/IV lacks camouflage, it has great manoeuvrability and flexibility to compensate for thi

ISU-122S - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
Done in 107 battles, all ISU designated vehicles in the game are completed. At first glance, it can be regarded is a slower SU-122-44 with zero armour inclination. The ISU-122S boasts devastatingly high 4000 Damage Per Minute (DPM), even higher than some tier 10 TDs. However, poor gun stability, long aim time, terrible accuracy and mediocre shell velocity greatly affects the DPM especially at long range flanking. APCR is almost very necessary in general situations due to the terrible penetration values of both AP and APCR shells. View range does not exceed 443m with the standard random battle crew and equipment layout so one might consider using binocular telescope to exceed 443m. Armour is not great, however the gun mantlet is quite strong like other TDs of similar designs. Forward speed is above average compared to other TDs, but totally lacks reverse speed which greatly endangers the ISU-122S when trying to retreat backwards. Hull traverse speed is rated average among other TDs wi

60G FT - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
Done in 75 battles, the 60G FT is one of the most difficult Tier 5 challenges I have ever done in my WoT career. The only redeeming feature of the 60G FT is it's monstrous and godlike Damage Per Minute (DPM) of more than 2800, this is higher than some of the Tier 9 and Tier 10 vehicles. However, the 60G FT reveals it's many darker faces by having one of the worst shell velocities in the game, so it is impossible to snipe from a long distance. Camouflage is absolutely untrustworthy and the overall size of the 60G FT is slightly larger than a KV-1, so the 60G FT tends to get spotted early during the battle and will be priority target of all SPGs in the battle. Armour profile is an abomination of it's own kind, there were some cases where a Pz. III/IV and Pz. IV H managed to penetrate any part of the frontal armour with HE shells. Any Tier 5 vehicle with a 105mm and 122mm gun will strike tremendous terror into the 60G FT without a doubt, it is possible to be destroyed by one
