AMD 178B - 3 Marks of Excellence

This is my first 3MoE in 2019. A very frustrating experience, standards dropped around 3 p.m. Japanese time so I was able to jump from 93% to 99.7% in one battle. After the next battle, 1 finally got 100% MoE. I didn't expect to see myself playing with LTs, I wanted to test the new mechanics and evaluate whether it is truly a mechanic introduced to "kill arty" or "scout rush". However, it is not true due to the fact that AMD 178B has a very large and tall chassis with average speed. The gun is the greatest asset, able to shoot high penetrating HE shells and APCR for sniping. Both forwards and backwards speed are equal at 65km/h, so there is no need to turn the chassis around to fall back quickly. The AMD 178B accelerates fast when moving forward but slowly when turning either direction from a standstill, and has problems manoeuvering when confined in between narrow passageways. Because AMD 178B has only 2 wheel steering, it steers differently when moving backwards. The vehicle will automatically move forward while steering without moving forward, making the vehicle unable to steer on the spot. With a -12 degree gun depression, it compensates the height of the chassis and is able to flank from hills. Average DPM with the final gun comes with poor accuracy and great aim time. View range is extremely low and there is a high chance of getting spotted first when doing scout rushes. When one hind wheel is destroyed, the whole vehicle is able to still move and steer slowly. But when one front wheel is destroyed, it can move slowly but cannot steer and becomes utterly hopeless. Being a HE magnet, more often than not SPGs will love to target the AMD 178B despite moving unpredictably. In the worst cases, one front tire and one hind tire will be destroyed and core crew members will die, or instant death.
