Year 2018 and Future Plans || 2018年と今後の計画

Helped by Google Translate || Google翻訳の助けを借りて At the time I write this, it is the fall of year 2017. It was a great year, I had lots of fun playing WoT with many clans. I now have 41 vehicles with 3 marks and I am proud for each and every one of them that made me a successful tanker with high reputation. But sadly I have to leave because of my busy life with work. I don't know when I will come back, but I will still hang around Twitter and Discord to keep up with the latest updates. Note that I hardly ever post new tweets, like or retweet other people's tweets. Forgive me, for I need to proceed with life. I admit that I have inflicted bad reputation on some people and teams without considering my actions twice. It is too late to say, but I apologise for every damaging action that I did. It is better said than leave it quiet. What happened to my IGN in the game, why can't you find it? Well, it secretly disappeared. *wind blows*, the WG magician pulled off an amazing ma

SU-100M1 - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
The 3 mark Object 263 family is almost complete with the newest addition: SU-100M1. I just need to get 3 marks on the SU-100 and SU-122-54. The SU-100M1 is a great scouting TD with high flexibility, mobility, camouflage and damage per minute. However it lacks armour, damage per shot and gun depression. It also has poor gun traverse arcs, forcing the player to re-position the hull every time. It's gun mantlet can withstand powerful shots from other HTs and TDs, but it will not withstand shots from Tier 9 tanks. With great acceleration and speed, it can relocate later than many other TDs. With its shallow profile, it has no problems with both active and passive scouting. Overall, I enjoyed playing with the SU-100M1.

Object 263 - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
I could finally say that I have a Tier 10 tank with 3 marks. With high damage standards of 5300+ in the Tier 10 bracket, I have to perform well consistently. Object 263 is one of the few TDs that can scout fairly well due to it's high camouflage values and speed. The Object 263 has excellent gun statistics like high DPM (Damage Per Minute), great long distance accuracy, decent damage and above average gun dispersion on the move. The Object 263 has some major flaws like the poor gun handling, slow acceleration, fairly sluggish hull traverse and large armour profile with no side-scraping capability. With only -4 degrees of gun depression, I exposed my lower hull 99% of the time and I ended up being a vulnerable target in head on battles. With -7/+7 gun traverse arcs, I couldn't side-scrape and I had to consistently turn my hull to aim the gun, also resetting my aim that needs 2.5 seconds to fully aim. Although hull traverse is sluggish and holds one of the biggest & highest

SU-152 - 100% MoE & Final Battle

Image
SU-152, my very first tank with 3 marks is finally brought to 100%. I had a lot of fun in it, blasting HEAT shells with 250mm of armour penetration into many Tier 8s and making them loose 700 HP with one shot  was a delightful sight. SU-152 spurred me onto the TD route, and I have no regrets continuing the TD lines. SU-152 is a monstrous beige whale with great speed for it's size and excellent camouflage. However, it is blind with 360m of view range and having extremely poor gun handling with the 152mm gun. But it's heavyweight flaws are balanced with monstrous HEAT shells and high damaging HE shells.

T-44-100 (R) - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
Finally after 2 long years of patience and failing my way through 300 odd battles stuck at borderline 90%, I managed to obtain the final mark on the gun. Through many WoT client updates, it's damage standard stayed absurdly high at 3500+. It is by far my hardest Tier 8 3MoE tank, surpassing the T28 and the AMX AC 48. WG was very friendly towards the T-44-100 (R) in update 9.20 and buffed it, further maximising it's damage potential. T-44-100 (R) was already overpowered, it did not really need the buff. Now it is a very fast and deadly flanker and scouter with extreme camouflage values. It's only flaw is the low amount of penetration, but it makes up for the flaws with great gun handling.

IS-3 - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
After taking a 2 year break of playing HTs, I decided to give it a go again. The marks whopped up from 84% to 92% in 1 battle with a decent game. After several camping games, the final game is a hard push game. Miraculously saving HP and holding on less than 100 HP, I managed to get the 3 marks. It is too easy, I felt like I wasted my time doing this challenge. But it proves my worth being a HT player.

Super Tournament Account Experience

Image
In the name of _Violence__AWC, I participate in the Japanese Alienware Cup tournament as a reservist with 7 other people under the team "Rice Gohan Zozui". I'm extremely ecstatic to receive such an extraordinary account to battle in the tournament because I get to use many unseen or rare tanks such as the Pz. V/IV Alpha, A-32 and T71 CMCD. Below, I startup with 1,500,300 gold, 100,000,000 silver, 1,000,000 XP, 1 day of premium account, all tanks from the tech tree in my garage with elite crew members having all skills for each tank, no personal reserves and badges and 1 set of premium consumables for every tank in the garage. However, not all premium tanks are in the garage. Moderator's gifts, clan war event prizes (except T23E3), supertest tanks and personal mission rewards are not included. These accounts cannot participate in random battles, and is limited to only team training battles and special battles. For the full tour of the account, visit this link: https:

French TDs - My Thoughts and Reviews

Image
French TDs are generally fast and brittle as their tier progresses up the tech tree. In the current meta, French TDs are extremely disregarded and looked down upon by many people because of their pathetic gun selection, gun handling, nonstrategic weak spot layout, and prone to crew deaths. French TDs have great terrain grip and was never known to slip down hills or drift. I will review them one by one starting from tier 7. (Who cares about Tier 6 nowadays? (True Fact) ) Tier 7 - AMX AC 46 An unusual gun layout and narrow disoriented gun arc distribution on both left and right sides. With a poor choice of guns with increasingly worse gun handling, it fails hard even if it is the highest tier in the team. Poor armour layout with extremely obvious weak spots sitting on top of the tank that creates a visibility checkpoint for the enemy LTs to spot it more easily when you are hiding behind a slope. Even the blindest tankers will notice these hideous weak spots. Although you hav

Rhm.-Borsig Waffenträger - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
Made it happen with the 15 cm gun and 98 battles. It heavily stings enemies while remaining unspotted very well. Everything is great about the Rhm.-Borsig Waffenträger, but the low engine power and speed forces it not to be spotted too much. With very little armour, it is impossible to bounce shots. I used the 12.8 cm gun for 1 mark, and then switched to the 15 cm gun to get 2 and 3 marks. Overall a very fun TD to play.

8,8 cm Pak 43 Jagdtiger - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
A Tier 9 Jagdtiger chassis and superstructure tiered down to Tier 8 equipped with a rapid firing 8.8 cm cannon with low damage and low penetration but with extremely high damage per minute, accuracy and aim time. It only sees a maximum of Tier 9 vehicles and makes a ton of money on an average battle. However it plays very differently from the Tier 9 Jagdtiger. Peek-a-boo tactics will be extremely awkward and unreliable, ambushing from close distances will be difficult and playing like a typical heavily armoured vehicle will not work. The 8.8 cm Jagdtiger is designed to snipe at long ranges while having great view range to spot enemies and having great armour to deflect shots from afar while maintaining it's sniping position. Although the lower hull is more armoured than the Tier 9 Jagdtiger, it is not strong enough to withstand the cannons of Tier 7 vehicles. Having almost 4-5 seconds of reloading time allows you to permanently damage the tracks of enemy vehicles and receiving as

Sturer Emil - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
Honestly, it was quite fun to play for a masochist vehicle. With -15 gun depression, Sturer Emil fights across hilly terrain like a God. However it has horrible gun traverse limits of 5 and 7 degrees so it is difficult to lead shots. Having terrifyingly low camouflage, slow speed, tall size and paper thin armour means that you will be receiving a lot of crew damage and full damaging shots from artillery. Always stay hidden, spot with your extreme view range, park behind hills with double bushes and flank the enemy.

Masochism in WoT

Image
Description: Playing normal and overpowered tanks in WoT might turn out to be boring and repetitive. So taking it to the next level by introducing masochism, an act where players commit themselves to playing terrible or the worst tanks in WoT. Observation of masochism is extremely rare in player's profiles given the fact that there is a strong possibility of poor WN8 and win rate results, lowering the player's overall reputation. However, the minuscule latter of the player population prefer to continue masochism. My views on masochism: Back when I was playing decent and overpowered stat-padding MTs and LTs, I started getting bored of having speed and agility and wanted something slower and without rotating turrets. I moved to playing TDs and found that they are a viable option for masochist 3 marks, so I moved on to playing the worst TDs in WoT. Masochism is my hobby and my mind's medicine and base training, I do get reputation for my 3 marked masochist vehicl

Churchill GC - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
The Churchill GC boasts it's infamous reputation as the worst Tier 6 TD in the game with only 5 degrees of gun traverse arcs, accelerates slowly with a 25 km/h speed limit, terrible gun bloom accuracy, frustratingly low camouflage and terrible overall survivability. Although having -10 degrees of gun depression, it's cabin is too big to be hidden. Even worse, the gun is mounted very near to the base of the vehicle, so you will find yourself exposing more than one-third of your tank to shoot at enemies. Having too low view range disallows you to get 450m view range even with Coated Optics and crew skills, so you need to use the Binoculars to acquire maximum view range. However the effect of binoculars is rarely activated throughout the whole battle because of the over-abysmal gun traverse arc, meaning that you won't ever scout enemies effectively. The most retarded tank I have ever drove in the game got 3 marked in only 1 day after buying it. Churchill GC is AIDS, have fun

59-Patton - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
With a turret as similar as the M48 Patton, it is designed to spot enemies effectively with an extended view port on the turret. However the view port is a huge weak spot, so hull down approaches won't work well as compared to it's competitor: Type 59. With an upgraded gun compared to the Type 59, it flanks better and faster, however the Type 59 can brawl, maneuver and withstand the battle heat more effectively than the 59-Patton. An easy 3 mark to get, but not many people have 3 marks on it.

SU-101 - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
Argued as being the worst Tier 8 TD by many people because of having the lowest HP of every Tier 8 TD (990), among the worst damage per minute values with the 120mm gun, and having only -2 gun depression. However I disagree, SU-101 is a specialised reconnaissance TD which excels in camouflage and having a short stature means it can hide behind the smallest bushes and trees without getting spotted from around 300m. Although the gun handling is brutally horrible, a fast and sleek TD should not always use their guns but also spot enemies like LTs and maybe flank at closer ranges like MTs. It has a hard time sniping from far distances because of the below average shell velocity. Having only 7 degrees of gun traverse angles on the 120mm gun forces you to reset your aim and can prove gunning down enemies even more frustrating than other TDs. What's worse that its coupled with 3.1 second aim time. Although using the 100mm gun loaded with pure HEAT rounds can greatly solve problems, it w

T28 Prototype - 3 Marks of Excellence

Image
It is better than the T28 in almost every imaginable way. However the T28 has higher damage per minute and overall armour. Some people say that the T28 Prototype can mimic the role of a classic HT, but in reality it doesn't have the armour efficiency and HP to stay longer in the front lines. Still having the same gun problems as the T28, it wouldn't snipe targets well. However thanks to having a free rotating turret, it can lead shots effectively. The 3 marks are easy and with not many complaints.
